I've just read on drivingitalia.net about this project, and I'm very very interested, mostly if will be possible to have formula 1, rally and other categories of racing to be simulated in.

 I'm downloading right now the demo to see how it looks like.

My question is... (sorry if I didn't read evrything on forum but I'm over excited right now)

1)  there will be AI in the "professiona drivers" controlled by computer?

Or they will just be ghost cars?

Would be great to have an AI exploiting the telemetry of a real car/driver to drive as fast as they do, learning from the driver's "driving line".

this would be a great challenge for virtual drivers. The real driver/car behaves as in real life, but in the same time can adjust the way of driving basing on the virtual drivers or other computer controlled cars.

Just a ghost car would cut off half of the joy to drive I think, cos despite by one side you could have a great product in term of graphic quality, on the other half a virtual driver would like to drive in a real sim, or something very close to a sim racing game.

An example of this was the great AI in Geoff Crammong Grand Prix games.. never forgotten quality software :)

An adaptive AI linked to a real time photorealistic graphic would make this project a revolutionary thing! :)

some brief words after trying it...

if it could have real track physics beneath video overlay of the circuit would be great.

but if it won't be a real racing game in the end, it's a pity.

Anyway I'll wait for the news for the final product .
