i recently contacted the real time race crew, and was told there would be a playstation 3 demo version of this software. i really love the idea of real time race, but i do not have a pc. is there any date on when we could be seeing a playstation 3 version? thanks

i dont use twitter. just quickly, i read in another thread, that real time race runs off a browser. is this true? if it is, then the ps3 already has one. it'll just take a little bit of modifying, wont it?

It appears they're using DirectX for something, as it's required for the PC demo. Apparently no complex rendering takes place at any point in the 'game' though, it's purely video footage, so maybe they're only using DirectSound, DirectInput or some other minor component of DirectX in the current demo and not doing anything particularly special with Direct3D.
In other words, it might need a lot of modification to get it working on the PS3, it might need very little, we'll have to wait and see. It's not as simple as just opening it up in the PS3 browser.

There are not confirmed plans. Is just within our strategy. I would expect Minimum of 12 months.
