When I satrt the demo the login page appears then my computer freezes completely, Have left it for 10 mins or so. Have i missed an existing thread? or is it just me. I suppose my computer is not up to it......... shame if thats the case.

Not a definite, but in some games I have seen lock ups when the firewall is awaiting a response from the user - trouble is the firewall window pops up, behind the game window so you don't see it and since the firewall is waiting for a user input and the game is waiting for the firewall to let it get to the internet - hey presto - lock up...
Are you able to ALT + TAB back to your desktop? Are you using a firewall that asks you for input when programs try to access the internet???

Thanks for both your suggestions. I have had the firewall problem before usually fixed by using the windows button. Trouble is my computer completely freezes. The mouse wont move and no shortcut buittons work either. Not even ctrl-alt-del. I literally get the login page and wham its froze. I'll turn off the firewall tho and try again.

I find it difficult to believe any computer that can turn on couldn't manage RTR, and even if it was 10 years old it shouldn't just die..
Was a bluescreen displayed, or did the application just freeze in place like you'd "paused" it?
Is there a log file in the application folder?
