The scan team are planning to do both cold and hot weather testing of the equipment. This would involve travelling with the car, cameras, lasers, navigation equipment and thermals to Scandinavia and the same but shorts instead of thermals to Greece. It is crucial to establish whether the extremes in temperature have any adverse effects on the equipment and indeed the team working with it! Nothing that a few beers on the pub afterwards wouldn't resolve! On a serious note however, as Real Time Race is poised to travel the world capturing world famous tracks and cars ahead of the real races taking place, it is crucial to thoroughly assertain any problems which may occur well in advance.
